Originally the Audi Q7 came out sporting a 4.2L V8 engine, and while the performance of the vehicle was great many people like the 3.6L V6 engine that the new 2007 Audi Q7 3.6L Quattro has, due to its lower cost and better fuel mileage.
While the newer V6 engine may be a second or two behind the V8 engine when going from 0-60 it still has plenty of pep and the fuel economy of the V6 greatly makes up for that extra second.
This new engine also works well with the six-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission which can be manually shifted or left in automatic mode for no hassle, automatic shifting.
Not only does the2007 Audi Q7 3.6L Quattro sport a new, more economical engine, and four-wheel drive, but it also has adaptive air suspension. There are three modes of air suspension, which are comfort, dynamic, and automatic.
Also offered is an off-road mode of suspension for those who do a little driving in the rough. This SUV also offers great safety features such as four-wheel antilock break system, brake assist, and Audi’s braking guard.
Although the 2007 Audi Q7 3.6L Quattro is sporty and even readied for off-road, it also contains the luxury that Audi is know for on the inside. While it appears more rugged on the exterior the interior of the vehicle is comfortable and equipped with many extras.
