The new 2006 Audi TT 1.8L Coupe Sport will make its debut at the Geneva Auto Show in March 2006.
The model will keep its fabulous Deco styling but its revolutionary design will give its passengers more interior space.
The coupe will feature a retractable rear spoiler for more downforce and new front grille adapted from A6 and A8.
Compared to the normal TT the TT quattro has also lost 75 kilograms in weight, which definitely adds to its agility and unlimited driving pleasure.
The engine and transmission have been extensively modified. The base 1.8-liter turbo unit has gone up from 222 to 240 horsepower and the torque has been increased from 207 to 236 lb-ft.
The TT sport accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds with the top speed of 250 km/h. It also has quattro permanent four-wheel drive as standard, which gives it noticeably more traction and safety,
and a beautiful S-line package with slightly firmer suspension and 18-inch aluminium wheels. The drive is smooth, the TT feels incredibly responsive and powerful.
The interior is sporty, luxurious and very exclusive. Manually adjustable leather seats with the steering wheel,
handbrake and gear lever trimmed in Alcantara to match, provisions for retrofitting harness belts and automatic air conditioning,
which can be added at no extra charge. One of the best features of the new Audi TT 1.8L Coupe Sport is that the useless rear seats are gone, creating less weight, lots of stowage area and a generally much more efficient feel.
At a base price of around $46,700 2006 Audi TT coupe is an amazing tribute to Audi's commitment to technology and high performance.
It will most certainly turn heads and captivate even the most demanding driver with its combination of power, great road performance and stunning looks
